The Bangladesh Biosafety Portal is managed by the South Asia Biosafety Program (SABP).
Supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and managed by the Agriculture & Food Systems Institute (AFSI), SABP is dedicated to assisting Bangladesh in further strengthening institutional governance of biotechnology and provides technical assistance to the biosafety risk assessment and research communities in Bangladesh, further supporting government efforts to implement functional and scientifically sound regulatory processes for agricultural biotechnology.
